James P. Mammen
Ph.D. Candidate (September 2001 to September 2006)
Information Systems Laboratory
Department of Electrical Engineering
Stanford University

I was in the Information Systems Laboratory in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Stanford University from September 2001 to September 2006. I received my M.S. in Statistics in June 2005 and my Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering in August 2006. Prof. Abbas El Gamal was my Ph.D. adviser. During my stay at Stanford, my research interests were in the areas of network algorithms and theory, queuing theory, information theory, statistical signal processing, computer vision, and applied probability.
